Medical support stockings are available in a variety of lengths and compressions and are designed by circumference and graduated pressures to effectively reduce the pooling of blood, or venous stasis, throughout the entire leg. The clinically-proven graduated compression pattern from ankle to upper thigh helps ensure optimum blood flow velocity and return of blood from the lower extremities back to the heart. Most products and styles are available without a Doctor’s prescription* in small, medium and large sizes. Available in below knee lengths, thigh high, thigh high with belt and pantyhose styles, both regular and maternity. Also available in short, regular  long and x-long lengths. In addition, Continuing Care styles are available in both knee and thigh length.

Some manufacturer products, because of mmHg compression levels, require a medical physician’s order. For very thin and x-large sizes, see thigh-length with belt styles and for a thigh length T.E.D. Stockings that do not contain latex are available by special order. These typically are numbered with "LF" codes.
